Corporate Idol- Season 1

Organised by Mridula Memorial Foundation, Corporate Idol – Season 1 is a platform created to discover and celebrate hidden singing talent within the corporate world. Across offices and professional environments, there are countless passionate singers who could not pursue their musical dreams due to career responsibilities, personal commitments, or lack of opportunities. Corporate Idol aims to bring these voices to the forefront by providing a stage where professionals can reconnect with their passion for music, showcase their talent, and inspire others through their performances.

Contest Rounds 

Round 1: Online Submission Round: 15th May- 15th August, 2026
Participants must submit their singing performance in .mp4 video format only. Audio-only entries will not be accepted. The video should clearly feature the participant performing the song. 

Round 2: Online Live Round: 15th September- 20th September, 2026
Shortlisted participants from Round 1 will be invited for an online live performance round in the presence of the judges for further evaluation. 

Round 3: Grand Finale: December 3rd/4th Week, 2026

Final shortlisted contestants will perform live, in person in Hyderabad before the judges and audience during the Grand Finale event.

(The dates are subjected to minor adjustments).

Rewards

• The Grand Finale Winner will be awarded a cash prize of INR 51,000/-, along with an opportunity to professionally record a song and music video in Hyderabad. The recording schedule will be coordinated based on the mutual availability of the respective teams. 
• The 1st Runner-Up will receive a cash prize of INR 21,000/- whereas 2nd Runner-Up will be awarded a cash prize of INR 11,000/-.
• All participants will be awarded Participation Certificates. 
• Grand Finale Finalists will be provided twin-sharing (with another participant) accommodation for the day of event. Train/Bus/Airfares would be borne by the participants. Participants travelling with family members, relatives, friends need to arrange Accommodation for them by themselves.

Participation Criteria & Format

• Participation is open to Indian Nationals only. 
• Eligible age group: 21 to 40 years. 
• The competition is open to both Male and Female participants. 
• Entries must be submitted as a Solo Singing Performance only. Group performances or duets will not be accepted. 
• Participants may perform in any singing genre including Ghazal, Bhajan, Bollywood, Classical, Semi-Classical, Folk, or Self-Composed songs. 
• There will be no separate categories or genre-based divisions in the competition. 
• All performances will be evaluated purely on the basis of overall singing talent, vocal quality, expression, sur, taal, presentation, and performance skills, irrespective of the song genre selected.

2. Eligibility

• Participation is open to individuals currently employed in corporate organizations, startups, business enterprises, or professional establishments. 
• Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. 

3. Original Voice Requirement 

• The uploaded performance/video/audio must feature the participant’s own original singing voice. 
• Any form of dubbing, voice replacement, AI-generated vocals, or impersonation is strictly prohibited and would lead to disqualification.

4. Content Guidelines 

• Entries containing abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or inappropriate content will be disqualified immediately. 
• Participants must ensure that their submission does not violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights. 

5. Submission Rules 

• Entries must be submitted within the announced timelines and in the prescribed format. 
• Please only use Official email ID as the primary registration ID. In case any participant transitions to another company, the latest company (at the time of Grand Finale) will be considered his/her participating corporate.
• Late, incomplete, or corrupted submissions may not be considered. 

6. Fair Participation 

• Participants are expected to compete in good faith and maintain professionalism throughout the contest. 
• Any attempt to manipulate results, misuse judging systems, or engage in unfair practices may lead to immediate disqualification. 

7. Judging & Results 

• Decisions made by the judges and organizing committee shall be final and binding. 
• No disputes, challenges, or claims regarding evaluation, scoring, or results will be entertained. 

8. Use of Content 

• By participating, contestants grant the organizers the right to use submitted photos, videos, recordings, names, and performances for promotional, marketing, digital, social media, and event-related purposes without additional compensation. 

9. Disqualification 

• Any discrepancy in participant details, violation of rules, misconduct, or false declaration may result in disqualification at any stage of the competition. 

10. Code of Conduct 

• Participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior toward judges, organizers, sponsors, fellow participants, and audiences. 

11. Organizer Rights 

• The organizers reserve the right to modify event schedules, rules, formats, or terms at any time without prior notice. 
• The organizers also reserve the right to cancel or suspend the competition under unavoidable circumstances. 

12. Acceptance of Terms 

• Submission of registration or participation in the contest will be considered as full acceptance of all Terms & Conditions stated above.
